MY TRIBUTE TO J.D. THORNBURY
J.D. was as classic a cowboy that ever was. He was a friend to the horses and a hero to children. He lived his entire life as a cowboy performer, from Bull rider to Roman rider. The difference between J.D. and any of the imaginary cowboy matinee hero’s is, he was for real. He Loved God, His family and always helped others including me, many times. He taught me some things about horses, but most of all he showed me a lot about being a good man and that’s what being a classic cowboy is all about. J.D called me his friend but I'm thankful that he was mine!
